    Thanks for correcting this. I remember reading at least some of Mutual Aid as well and it stuck with me how he goes into detail about his observations on the cooperative aspects of nature. In fact, the only works I can think of off the top of my head that portray nature as inherently competitive structures are, like, The Lion King or The Jungle Book, lol, which is Disney movies, not science. The idea of it as inherently competitive seems to be mostly based on systems like colonialism and capitalism projecting.
