Apparently there’s an issue with some instances banning users for criticizing authoritarian governments. Is lemmy.world a safe place to criticize governments?

    There is valid criticism to be made of entities that are also geopolitical enemies of the US, but repeating the State Department line is a serious red flag, as is whatever you call those zero effort “social credit -20 billion” memes.
