Hello again! Today, I bring you a special format that didn’t come out until only 5 years ago; a creature with an “adventure” attached to it. Adventures are pretty neat cards, allowing mono-mana players to sling more spells if they aren’t playing Izzet or Blue, hehe. In this case, it makes a “Royal Role” token you attach to a creature. Royal Role isn’t anything special; there is some cards that work with it but other than that it’s just a +1/+1 counter and a Ward 1 (In order to target this creature with a spell you must pay 1 colorless mana after the spell is cast)
But a lot of these cards are fun, with most adventures being relatively cheap with some powerful effects. Eldraine brought up some fresh air to the scene after we got Phyrexians shoved up our ass by every old-school player possible. Speaking of, I plan to cover the oily boys next.
A beautiful card.

I love Adventure cards so much. Lovestruck Beast might be my personal favourite. Still need it in the gorgeous showcase version.
That is an awesome one. The mana cost and extra token would fit perfectly in with a Gorion commander.
I really need to try brewing with Gorion. It’s a shame that Mosswood Dreadknight isn’t in his colour identity because I got the excellent foil showcase version. Decent ass card. Lovestruck Beast is often the card I show to people to demonstrate how mtg is really great at telling a story using only rules text. OG Eldraine is one of the GOATs.
