No, that book is a perfect metaphor for a mind that experiences reality through a lense! It’s not perfect to the specific “translations” of the autistic experience obviously but it does a fantastic job of showing what it’s like to have to translate your reality to successfully interact with people.
I wholeheartedly agree and have been seeking out a modern version of it for quite sometime
