I like them although I like my framework laptop a lot better, even though Lenovo’s laptops are technically pretty serviceable. That being said, they seem to be getting worse, and another commenter said they’re pretty anti-repair, so I guess I’m pretty suspicious about Lenovo for that. In the end, my X1 keeps failing because of a motherboard issue. Seems like their quality has come into question.
REgarding framework, american companies are American companies and I don’t know if frameworks good nature is gonna last forever.
Lenovo is in a weird position because it used to be an American company and so a lot of American businesses use them and expect certain things even though they’re now owned by a Chinese brand, and a lot of these liberal reactionaries would normally be appauled by the use of Chinese hardware.
