If you don’t need the features it (for now) lacks, go ahead! Worth bearing in mind there will be a proper migration path for Synapse users when Dendrite reaches 1.0 (iirc)
This is exactly what I am waiting for as my Matrix home server has been a Main form of communication for some loved ones and I. Though it is very tempting to try and migrate “early”.
If the beta were more feature-complete, I’d say go ahead and try to migrate, but as it’s not imo you should continue to wait. Not necessarily until 1.0, but until it has more or less reached feature parity with Synapse
I’m considering switching from Synapse soon. I’m the only user of my home server anyway.
