I know Trotsky is hated because he betrayed Stalin. However, simply by looking at the idea of Trotskyism (permanent revolution, etc), it may seem impractical, but far from bad?

    Did he deserve to be murdered though?

    I mean, I always saw Stalin’s ideas the best ones and that’s why he won the debate of wether or not should the USSR go for this or that geopolitical stance. But I cannot see the purges as something normal.

    The evidence used on Moscow trials were very flimsy and there’s evidence that even relatives of Trotsky were prosecuted even outside the USSR.

    If I’m wrong, could someone please link up the evidences for: Trotsky being an conspirator who really made a terrorist network in the Union alongside Zinoviev etc. Also, why Bukharin got shot too? Wasn’t it his idea the whole SIOC thing (at least applied to the Soviet Union in particular)?
