Anyways, I did a deep dive on some PF2 stuff and how come people didn’t tell me Paizo decided to just go all in on being queer? It’s a nice change of pace from WotC’s very slow process.

I remember when WotC did some pro trans PR thing. Someone in the comments was slagging off pathfinder saying “when are they going to include trans characters” Proceeds to get hammered with links from every diverse groups that have existed in pathfinder since forever including a transgender character.

There are lesbian/gay/etc relationships amongst prominent NPCs including gods. Several of the NPCs in the Sandpoint guide are listed as gay, some openly some closeted.

The gods themselves can appear as any gender they like (or none), some are listed as typically appearing male, some female, some will switch back and forth and others have no obvious gender.

Pathfinder didn’t need to make a big song and dance about becoming inclusive because they have been so from the start.

There’s even a canonical non-binary human, they’ve been there for years too so it’s not a recent addition. Mios is a bamf.

Mios Uriev learned that monsters can look like anyone, but they normally look like the rich.

Paizo warehouse is unionized too, WotC is not unionized. Also Paizo doesn’t send Pinkertons after YouTubers so that’s nice.

That’s not even getting into the way better mechanics. I’m frustrated with myself for not switching sooner quite frankly. At least I can say I’m pre-OGL kerfuffle but it’s been fun introducing players looking to get away from WotC.

Lmfao as an enby that’s accurate and is definitely how I’m referring to that armor moving forward, thanks for that 😂

are they an existing character promoted to iconic?

That was my understanding, that they’ve been around for a while but got promoted to iconic with PF2. Willing to admit I might be wrong on that, but could’ve sworn I remember reading about them in PF1 lore.

NSFW memes. Check the comments under the AMA on here with the u/Dalimey; there’s quite a few people expressing interest in continuing the NSFW meme trend from r/dndmemes in some capacity, but it isn’t (wasn’t?) clear whether or not this Lemmy would be the place.

        The NSFW posts.

IDK if they’re exactly merited in these spaces outside of a protest context. I’m also not sure they were really needed in that context either but ce’st la vie!

I would personally really like to see it continue. Yes, I’m a horny bastard, but I genuinely enjoy the NSFW twist on memes. Maybe it deserves to be its own sublemmy (is that even the right term?)

I mean…It is tagged as NSFW and all, I don’t see the problem. Not on the horny side, just unfazed. Beside, it’s mostly @freeuse_princess posting those, hardly a major problem as of yet.
