Would be a good price for Arsenal though I’m a bit surprised West ham aren’t hanging in for more of a bidding war. Maybe they want to get the money to start buying replacements quick

Chelsea have really ruined the market. A few years ago 92m pounds would’ve been a crazy price.

I think PSG is the one who broke the market by signing neymar. His transfer fee is 222 million euro on 2017. After that, player market irreparably broke due to fear of clubs losing talent to oil backed clubs…

Pogba went for about 80 ish million YEARS ago and Rice is a much better player.

For Rice? Absolutely. He’s one of the best CMs in the world, English and only 24. He’s a HUGE signing.

Who does WH have in their sights as a replacement? Seems like a huge blow to their squad

Reminds me of Villa losing Grealish and signing 3 players with the funds in hopes of collectively replacing him (didn’t work out too well on those particular transfers though)

Caciedo, Cancelo, Gundogan and Castagne seem to be the names being thrown about. Obviously not all of them
