I remember reading this book a few years back. I don’t think it was a well written book. It was mostly dark and I found it tough to relate to it. But somehow it leaves a lasting impression. The protagonist was obsessed with this painting. And now that I see this I still hear the protagonist’s voice in my head.
Oh boy, they even made a mediocre film of it with the kid from Stranger Things. Yes had to read that in a book group but didn’t get far (glad I didn’t bother!).
