Ah shrodingers alcove, if you fireball it it’s full of orphans and level 1 clerics. If you don’t it’s full of heavy crossbowmen holding their actions.
That’s why it’s important to upcast it. That way the orphans don’t suffer.
And incase it doesn’t do what you intended the first time, a second cast is always a good idea
