An update to Android Auto has fixed a problem with the navigation bar, but meanwhile some Pixel 8 owners are finding connection issues.

    It’s not just P8/P8P in my experience. I can no longer connect a P7 to the same vehicle. Android Auto never starts, the car screen just says the device is not compatible.

    My other car, which has the motorola wireless dongle, works fine.
