I’m not sure WHAT people want from a device this size that wouldn’t be “boring”. The incremental updates to the watch, year over year, have made it a fantastic device, and more features or design changes just for the sake of change seems stupid.

Is it bad if I kinda don’t want my watch to stand out too much?
