Used to smoke 2 packs a day. Quit 20 years ago. Quit because I figured I always smelled like smoke which greatly diminished the dating pool. I missed it every day until I managed to get hooked on nicotine pouches. Was using 10-15 of the 8mg On every day. Managed to do that in secret for years. Quit those about a year ago after my wife found out. Now I get to miss smoking AND nicotine pouches every single day. I love nicotine. I miss it every single day. I think about it all the time. If I ever found myself single again I would go back in a heartbeat. I am salivating just writing this. It is evil shit.

  • Your retraction speed might be a little fast. 20-30mms is usually what I use. Only use the part cooling fan on the bridges. Speed can be a bit interesting. PETG is stringy. I typically print PETG pretty slow. 40-50 if I’m going for fine detail. Would probably increase the temp a bit too. That’s a bunch of wild-ass guesses but it’s where I’d start.

Grow up and get your own fucking computer. Don’t be an asshole and fuck with someone’s else’s machine. Do whatever is required to be done on the school machine then put it away and use your own for whatever supersecret spy shit or whatever you need to hide from"The Man". I don’t fuck with my company issued machine. I do my work then use my own machine to surf porn, torrent, or what the fuck. I don’t mess around with the machine that someone’s else paid for. Because I’m not an asshole. Don’t be an asshole.

  • DevOps is fun and you’ll learn a lot in a short amount of time. You will have to learn a bunch of stuff about automation, how different technologies are built and deployed, source control, etc. It’s a steep learning curve but awesome if you’re up to the challenge. It is never boring. I’ve been working on DevOps processes since before it was called DevOps. I’ve always been happy to be in this sector. Keep in mind that there is no set definition for DevOps. Some purists will argue what I do, setting up the tools and automation then let the devs do their thing, is not DevOps. They might believe that DevOps means developers set everything up and support everything. Of course, that doesn’t scale. Other companies just rebrand build engineers as DevOps. That’s about the most boring thing I can think of, besides QA. :-) Good luck!

  • Vyvanse changed my life. Without it, my career would have stagnated and my marriage would likely be over. I was diagnosed in my early 40s. I didn’t realize how many of my issues stemmed from the frustration caused by being forgetful, procrastinating, aggressive, etc. The meds, along w/ years of therapy, help me manage my brain. I’m still the same person w/ many of the same issues but I am able to manage them much better. I’m not saying meds are for everyone. But be open-minded. Realize that ADHD is just like any other disease or disorder. You would take meds for diabetes or high blood pressure. It is the same thing.
