Hmm, I don’t have an exact recipe, I usually free hand my meals. But I can roughly describe the process.
For seitan: I had made some veggie broth the other day and saved the cooked vegetables and mushrooms from it, which I blended into a mush, then added some random spices and herbs (basil, chili, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cumin), and a shitload of vital wheat gluten, then kneaded it until fairly solid. I then cooked the seitan in the broth for like half an hour. I saved the broth afterwards, I find it gets even richer after having seitan cooked in it. I cubed the seitan mass and put it aside. I only used half of the seitan I made because there was so much of it.
The goulash sauce was even more random, I just picked stuff I found around the kitchen that I found fitting. I took about two spoons of tahini, an ancho, a few garlic cloves, some tomato paste, miso paste, and again random spices and a little agave syrup. I blended it all with a little water, then started heating it in a pot. I chopped a white onion finely and threw it into the sauce, and let it simmer for a while, then added the seitan cubes and some frozen peas and carrots (from a cheap frozen mix I bought ages ago). I topped off with water, added a little soy sauce and vinegar to taste, let it simmer until it had a nice consistency.
That’s pretty much it. Served with plain potatoes.
Thank you :)
I have had quite okay experiences with making cashew mozzarella. I tried different recipes from different sites and they generally work about as well. Here is an example: https://www.noracooks.com/easy-stretchy-vegan-mozzarella-cheese/ But make sure to do it in advance, it needs to spend a few hours in the fridge or freezer before you put it on a pizza. I usually make it the day before and put it in the freezer, then just grate it when I need it. I also make bigger batches so I can use it for a long time.
I also put a lot of nooch (for taste) and a little turmeric (for color) in my cheese
same, same
The “minor prizes” like the one I got were checks to be cashed in, the perfect score girl prize was more like a grant though.
And yeah I too was surprised and while I was happy at the time (which kid wouldn’t, right), it does feel weird now lol. My guess is that they fucked up their budget for the year and needed to burn the money for tax reasons?
For my graduation (non-American country btw), the top like 30 students in school got awards. I was at place 21 or 22 and got like the equivalent of $100. The girl who got #1 (and she had like perfect grades all around, with a shitload of extracurriculars etc) won some fancy language trip across Europe or some shit, said to be worth like $4000.
Prior to the graduation ceremony I had no idea they were even giving out prizes lol, best I ever got before that was a book
Black in CMYK is not strictly necessary, you can absolutely make black out of CMY, but the separate ink gets added since black is such a regular occurence it’s simply cheaper to not mix it out of the other colors.
Yeah, I, for example, am a nobody with a degree
I live in a country where strip clubs don’t really exist (I mean I’ve heard of like one existing, that’s it) but when I was 18 or 19 a bar I frequented had an events night where they hired two strippers: a girl and a guy. I went out of curiosity and honestly I felt weird afterwards, standing in a crowd of horny men looking at a woman undressing, and everybody also theatrically showing disgust at the male stripper because “that’s gay”. Weird shit.
I have however been to burlesque and that’s a cool show, horny but also artsy and fun.
It might be because that person has no idea what words mean

Though now that I think of it, we did buy also a few rugs and some other minor shit that probably runs up like another $200 or so, and we got some old trash from my parents before we changed it out for better shit (and also, the thrifted kitchen chairs were found by them)
We recently moved and had to furnish a whole new house. We had some minor stuff of our own from before like a desk, an office chair, some drawers and a TV, but not even a bed otherwise.
Save for a new bed matress, we bought it all second hand, off local thrift groups, in thrift stores etc etc:
…and more. We are now fully furnished, and really nicely so (seriously, it’s beautiful furniture), and it all went for under $700. Now this is over like 5-6 months and took us a fair amount of looking, but we needed to just browse the thrift sites and have access to a car for easy transport, ppl offload really beautiful shit for cheap all the time.
It’s not well-written and makes no actual sense (“as easy as grating parmesan”, but it obviously looks like the server is struggling?) but here the customer is more the butt of the joke imo. He is shown to be unreasonable, while the server is the straight man who has to indulge the customer weirdo. I’m with the person before me, it’s a bad commercial but not like egregiously extremely bad like some can get
No, this was a regular (electric) oven set to 225C. We don’t use the wood oven too often because it takes ages to fire it up haha
This sounds absolutely wild in a very delicious way, this mix of all the different flavors must be bomb
it’s nothing fancy but wow it’s so tasty. I used some of the cashew cheese I made way back and it made it so creamy
non-vegan food isn’t free either yet ppl continue to eat it
grow up
