You sure about the PS2 dvd thing? I could’ve sworn it had to have software installed to unlock the playback. I mean this was decades ago, so I could be misremembering.
I had the remote and it came with the receiver and I could’ve sworn there was a disk too that was needed. But yeah I totally used it as a DVD player. That thing was a rockstar.
That’s true. Like a nuclear detonation, I’d rather be at ground zero and vaporized instantly than further away and slowly die from radiation and other issues stemming from that.
At least these folks are at peace.
Man, what a terrible way to go. I came across a video once of a diver that went too deep too fast or something like that and it screwed him up.
The guy was so deep underwater he actually wasn’t bouyant anymore. Didn’t even know that was a thing.
I think it was a fairly well known incident as well, but seeing the footage bothered me and I just pushed it out of my mind. I forgot what his name was and I’m not going to try googling the story.
There’s a multitude of nasty ways to pass into the great beyond, but having it happen underwater just creeps me out.
You’re talking about like a raspberry pi?
That’s amazing. Years ago, a buddy had the og fat model with the infamous dvd issue.
We were close to getting it working completely but the video still had some odd artifacts.
Something like what you’re talking about would’ve been perfect.
I disagree wholeheartedly.

A web search shows others showing concerns on various sites, and dev/staff responses.
I’d be more concerned about brave, your own isp, tiktok. Then the whole deal with backdoors in Intel chips and running minix. Don’t remember if amd has the same deal.
Vivaldi is fine. From what I’ve seen they mainly check out things like what os I am running, things of that nature. I can live with that. Steam from valve knows my hardware too. Heck the oil shop knows my vin, mileage, make, and model, as far as my car goes. I can live with that as well.
The only knock against Vivaldi is it being closed source.
I used to like playing zoop on SNES. Fun little puzzle game,. If you enjoy Tetris, I think you’d like zoop.
Edit: my mistake I didn’t realize you’re talking handheld. Not sure zoop had a handheld console version.
If there’s anything I’d want built in more than anything it would be vertical tabs like what the existing sideberry extension provides. I also use Vivaldi which has it native, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Edit: and tab manager plus. Same functionality and interface but native.
The existing extensions are fine, but if they are wanting to add things already provided by a third party, those two are my must haves for a modern browsing experience.
Maybe not much online gaming but I’m fairly certain it had an Ethernet port or an addon.
There was a whole Linux for PS2 thing for awhile although I never messed with it.
Yeah definitely. I think for me it was more like something I enjoyed in the moment If I caught it on the tube, but I lost track of the plot without consistently watching.
Yeah, but stumbleupon’s gimmick is easily duplicated.
“Mi mi mi mi mi mi mi”
It’s not a matter of can we, but why aren’t we? Imo, at least. They can only trap us if we let them.
If he’s hurting for money, he himself could start sucking. Maybe start an only fans. Pillow Princess Mike.
Don’t write it off just because some users are obnoxious about it. I use Linux myself, but I just sidestep any bs I come across and go about my business. If you’re curious about Linux, try it out. If you’re not, no sweat.
If you ever do try it out, I highly recommend the Linux mint forums, even if you choose a different distro. They seem friendly enough there.
I’d also recommend installing time shift for system restore type functionality and an external USB drive for backups of personal files just in case.
spez. nazi. spazi.
hard to pick just one.
emacs/orgmode, audacious media player, buku bookmark manager, xed text editor, i3wm.
theres older people that are like that too though. they just want to be able to use a pc, etc. and not have to think about it too much.
i watched a friend play alttp at his house but i forgot the name of it afterwards.
some time later my parents took me to best buy and got me the same game.
i recognized it once i got near the water temple in the light world. sounds dumb but that made really happy.
one of my favorite games.
oot was pretty cool too. i beat that and spent so much time just screwing around with a gameshark.
Yeah you can disable the Java part somewhere in settings.
