Its really what you can afford. Replacing the ssd with a bigger one is trivial if you are even remotely handy. So the real question is the screen.

Oled is amazingly better than the lcd ( i have both)

Battery life in oled is a bigger deal than i thought.

For me the antiglare screen was a big improvement aseell. My led disnt have it and my oled does. I can play in alot more sifferent liighting with less eyestrain. Some brighter places the led just wasnt acceptable to play. Ive had no issues with led and antiglare

So if its in budget get the top end oled. Else look for the 512 led with anti glare

Ios or android? If ios look at an app called things. Nice collector app (db) thats what id look for is a nice little freeform db app for my phone thats exportable

i bought a beelink n100 and love it. samba/paperless-ngx work fine. Immich is a heavy load doing all the ml stuff so if you have a large photo library itll take a while

i would do that but with a externl drive so you can do more than just the paperless stuff like pics etc if needed. i backup my data to local drive, cloud drive and external usb that i keep at my brothers house.

Sco xenix way back when was required for work. I decided to run it on my desk Then i had to work on sun machine for a few years. So ive really never been a windows person except for games. Once wine then proton atrted letting me game even a little then i got rid of every windows install i had and replaced with linux

What distro? Might be gnome only. Im on latestest budgie and cant add. Theres github issues etc. I can edit the file by hand and it works so no biggie but its a long standing issue
