Sweet! I’ve been using Notion lately for a work project that fit very well with Notion’s collaborative databases. But in doing that it made me want Properties for my personal Obsidian notes.
It’s-a me, Zak8022! I suck at writing bios.

What is CP?
Right?! Something we all WISH would get Sherlocked.
This is really how all sites should work.
I have a 12, and I’m at 85% health. Don’t know the cycle count though. I plan get a new 15 later this year, replace the battery on the 12, and hand it down to another family member.
None of the “Lemmy” apps will work with kbin, at least for now. Kbin does not have apis available for devs yet.
The only kbin app I’m aware of is Artemis, which is in closed beta, is doing some form of scraping instead of using apis.
I’ve been an Ivory Stan for a while, lol. But ngl, I’m starting to get itchy since updates have slowed significantly. Other apps have gotten lots of other QOL features, or he’ll even some basic features, in a much quicker time. But I’ve paid for Ivory already, and don’t really want to pay for another.
My options are more limited too cuz it’s a requirement for there to be some sync to a desktop app. Not too many others that do that (Mona is the first that comes to mind that is in “second” place for me).
That’s weird, it’s still working for me. Are you sure the credentials/account info are still correct?
Ya know, I really need to get used to checking what community I’m in before replying. 😭
Firefox + Vivaldi has been my go-to for about a year now. Only reason I need Vivaldi is for work, since we use Google Suite. Hangouts on Firefox doesn’t see/give me the right audio options. And large Sheets are noticeably slower/less responsive on FF then on any Chromium-based browser. Vivaldi feels like the best option among Chromium options.
Thanks, this is an analogy I realized last night after posting my question. Makes a lot of sense when out like that.
Thank you, this makes a lot of sense. Kinda what I figured, but wanted to make sure.
Sweet! I would be interested, and might be able to help test. Let me know if something comes of it.
For real. I feel like I recall a browser extension doing something similar for Mastodon. But I don’t have the coding knowledge to adapt that to this use case.
Ok I have a dumb question. Is Technology@beehaw.org supposed to have the same content as technology@lemmy.ml? Or are those two similarly names, but separate things with potentially differnt content?
This really needs more awareness. Today I searched for a specific game (Honkai Star Rail) and found one, then a second popped up a few minutes later on a different instance. Hardly anyone is on either, but it’s a thing that people need to consider before just making a new one. Especially moving forward.
AFAIK, kbin uses a different url scheme so Mlem might not be set up to handle that. The alternative I’ve seen suggested is to use kbin’s progressive web app (PWA) and install it as a pseudo-app. It works well enough for now. I do hope more native can exist in the future.
AFAIK, it does. But the url structure is slightly different. Instead of
https://kbin.social/c/memes@lemmy.ml
It would be https://kbin.social/m/memes@lemmy.ml
with an “m” instead of a “c”.
I’m still learning, so someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
Will do, thanks!
