I agree with OP’s comments but the article, not so much. Like OP the Gen Xers I know that are close to retirement with their financial ducks in a row do not prefer to be in the office. Being irreplaceable means you have the leverage to successfully negotiate a WFH arrangement.
I was facing the same thing as OP. Based on some of the comments, I went into UBO and turned off Adguard Other Annoyances filter. And that worked.
I don’t see the link to the article
That’ll work. Thank you!
Your response was uncalled for
“Beyond Google Messages, there are other messaging clients that use RCS”.
I was surprised to see this statement, and I’d like know which ‘other clients’ are being referred to here. Anybody know?

This is good news about Firefox enabling 200 extensions for the mobile browser. 4 years ago when Firefox disabled all but a few of them, it left me scrambling for another browser. So in the meantime I’ve been using Kiwi Browser because it’s developed to use chrome extensions in android. After Firefox brings back ability to load a lot more extensions, I’ll come home to FF once again.
Yeah it is
Long overdue, but this will be a benefit for all.
oh, my bad. My launcher is Samsung One UI. That said I have already tried stopping the app clearing cache and data, closing and reopening the app. No change.
I’m using F-droid launcher. Eternity Nightly version in F-droid is 0.1.2. I did force close both apps (F-droid, Eternity), cleared cache both apps, rebooted my phone. Uninstalled Eternity, reinstalled. None of this updated the icon.
This article is being presented as news, but it’s a year old.
I’ve been following this thread to check out all the great app icon designs being submitted. But I haven’t seen anything more since the Sep 8th deadline about where we go from here. Any news?
The question I have is why are House members being sent home for the weekend?
You said it before I could…Thank you.
Maybe people are pissed off about being forced to either RTO or be reprimanded/fired. So they either quit or in the meantime put less effort in.
I reread the article again. I did see anything mentioned about employees working 2nd jobs on company time, nor was it among the reasons they were fired.
