The simplest advice I can give is to not ignore the compiler warnings. Sure your app may compile, but the warnings are there for a reason. Every warning is tech debt.
Glad to hear this. It tells me they have confidence in the product.
In software development you have contractors and product owners who forge ahead and do things without consulting subject matter experts. This often leads to spaghetti code and rushed garbage when things ultimately need to be patched.
This is why you go to subject matter experts.

Better than writing beginner level crap that is at the same time super cryptic and not documenting at all. We have a bunch of that in our codebase and it makes me wonder why these devs are writing extension methods for functionality already built into the standard libraries.

Carlin has a lot of bangers, but this isn’t one of them and doesn’t sound like something he would say. It completely trivializes the struggle of the lower class.
Their decision to profit off the project was their downfall.
And there it is.
Season 1 was good but season 2 was pretty awful compared to the first. It was like they weren’t interested in making it anymore. It doesn’t help that the author was notorious for chickening out and not picking a side.
One problem is I don’t trust the asshole drivers around me to not damage my expensive vehicle. The other problem is that I don’t have $800/m to throw away on a vehicle that loses that much in value every month.
I don’t need all of these fancy features. I need a basic removed car that gets me from point a to point b and has enough trunk space for groceries.
If I had to take a wild guess giving benefit of the doubt it checks the total bytes downloaded and CPU usage to estimate electricity usage.
Closing the Funimation service is totally understandable and I would make the same business decision. There is no point in owning two different services that do the same thing. That price hike though. That is BRUTAL. The catalog isn’t nearly large enough and the quality of the streaming service and subtitles aren’t remotely good enough to warrant that price.
It can be an unsung hero in many tomato-based recipes. I use a tablespoon of it when I make jambalaya and beef stew.
I’m not sure if this is really part of it, but they do have physicals every year. They check things like weight, height, and strength.
Can’t just post this and NOT post recommendations.
As you said, I am perfectly aware that in an ideal world security would be on lockdown. How it behaves on Linux is how it SHOULD work. That doesn’t change the main point that you can’t hit the ground running with Docker containers in Linux.
Playing Final Fantasy XIII. That legitimately made me cry with how frustrating that game was to play.
