Surely that should be “A Person using an AI Agent Published a Hit Piece on Me”?
This smells like PR bait trying to legitimise AI.

Oh no, won’t someone think of the billion dollar company and their cultists! lmao

If that’s the case I’d bet it’s because the 3rd party launcher is embedded which is what Ubisoft did with Assassin’s Creed.

Haha yeah. At least for online ARPGs. No such problem with Grim Dawn, Chronicon, Wolcen etc

Hey! Buy our 25 year old game for £36!
It comes with a free always online requirement! Also included is the opportunity of a lifetime to open an exclusive Battlenet account to use the mandatory 3rd party launcher!
Don’t forget the new QoL additions we’ve locked behind a new class DLC!

FYI you can add -r to show the log in reverse order.

Perhaps I’m too cynical these days but what chance did they have with a name like Build A Rocket Boy?
Every time I see it I think is it “Build A Rocket, Boy” a la GoW or “Build A Rocket Boy” a la Astroboy… like WTF does it mean!!!
and Mint also contains proprietary elements
Good luck finding a distro that doesn’t https://www.gnu.org/distros/common-distros.en.html
I advise to not let perfect be the enemy of good and to start with Mint. It’s where I started and now I also use Arch and Debian on other machines.

R.I.P. Discord 2026
I use Weawow on mobile and desktop since the UK Met Office created their “new design” for their website.

Percentages are relative. They’ll still be able to dry their eyes with the billions they’ll have made in profit.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bytedance-track-50-billion-profit-160444958.html
ETA: to further put things in perspective…
1 million seconds = 11 days
1 billion seconds = 33 years

It’s reckoned that Bytedance’s profit margin is about 20% which is insane. They’ll easily absorb the 6% (as a general rule of thumb, most businesses would be over the moon with a 10% profit margin).

It makes it sound a lot when you put it like that.
If instead I say that 6% of €1000 is €60 then it doesn’t sound so much despite being in the same proportion.

large fineslap on the hand

Also, add -r to show the log in reverse. If you want to look at previous boots other than the last you can specify like so journalctl -b -2 -r

we didn’t realize quite how strongly players identified with the idea of, ‘I need to take some people and grow them and have that specific civilization cultural set be what’s growing to face the challenges of world history,’
That’s the core idea since Civ started and they don’t get that that’s what people like? That explains a lot.
Instead of what they’ve been doing I’d love to see them release a fantasy Civ like Warlock 2.

And then sell the data.

I bet the power companies see it on their bottom line though!

Up to date mesa is in regular mint but only sort of. You have to manually go bleeding edge if you want by installing mesa drivers manually.
Yeah, there’s a big difference to a beginner between adding a PPA in Mint (GUI) and all the fuckery of trying to get the latest Mesa in Debian (terminal with risk) even though both could technically be described as “manual”.
Yep, they’re just very fancy database queries.
Whether someone programmed it and turned it on 5mins before it did something or 5 weeks still means someone is responsible.
An inanimate object (server, GPU etc) cannot be responsible. Saying an AI agent did this is like saying someone was killed by a gun or run over by a car.
