Isn’t there maybe a way to keep the factory os and selectively disable google services. Sort of no-script style? Not too familiar with the android ecosystem tbh, other than google is on top of the food chain, haha.
Yet, for some unknown reason some treat it as a rite of passage.
I have been using a t450 for the past 5 years as my only pc. For about 4 years I used Arch without any major issues, but my “optimizations” became too much to maintan. For the past year I’ve been using Kinoite and it’s brilliant.
Everything runs good enough out of the box and in my daily use I haven’t noticed that I’m running a 9 year old machine. I even play games that should have no business running on that crusty old thing. Also, the stability is divine.
I say, ducktor! Ain’t there nothin’ I can take?
Neigh, it’s the other half.
From the human perpective, probably the horse is a little bit less gross. From the centaur perpective, probably the human is less gross, but I’m only half centaur, so can’t speak for all of them.
This fucking sucks and I hate the fact. The way this man heard and reproduced sounds is second to none, not to mention his music. One of the entries on a very short list of people I don’t personally know that I wanted to meet and thank. Gone way too soon. Sad day folks, sad day.
I always found the difference between general and special whativity fascinating.
Oh, rise up in that sense? I thought we were just sedentary. Now, where did I last see my sunglasses?
“4 stands for the 24th century” so… just a couple of centuries until another y2k style panic?
Not exactly sure if I understand it right, but I do have some habits connected to price gouged goods. I always try to shop in a way that the price I pay for an item is as close as possible to the price to manufacture it (get good deals basically).
For new clothing I only shop at outlets where I can get good quality from name brands for a 50%-90% discount. Shopping “behind the season” helps a lot. I usually buy warm clothes in the spring and summer clothes in the fall/winter when they try to clear out surplus, or just buy last year’s models. A few weeks ago I bought 70 euro shirts for 10 euros because they were from last year.
For food I buy stuff in bulk when I can, but I also go for sell by date discounts. Close to me there is a shop that always orders a huge inventory of premium groceries that they can never move in time. So once or twice a week I walk in and check whats on sale and what is likely to be on sale soon. That’s how I end up eating the occasional lobster dinner or go on a premium chocolate binge for pennies. A few times I ran into some discounts where the item was sold at a loss.
So yeah, just look for good deals and try to reduce the profit margin of the company selling it as much as you possible. Then, take all the money you saved and support local businesses.

Never heard of that one. Any leads I can follow?
Isn’t this like the 5th DnD movie? I mean the ones before were shockingly bad, but they still exist.
Paper can be very useful if you are going for the legal approach. In fact, I think they have a good chance overall. Scissors could jam it and become a martyr. Rock would just fuck it up and live out the rest of his days with a cool fading battlescar erroding away in a cool stream as a hero.
Funny how CrowdStrike already sounds like some malware’s name.
