Yep, just a shame I lose all those useful toxic substances when I cook the berries. All I’m left with is delicious, safe wine.
I didn’t have an issue, I just cut off the base, soaked and rinsed, tore into smaller parts, and rinsed again. Then boiled it in broth to add to chicken noodle soup. Perfection!
I recommend trying with a boring fabric first. I was lucky it worked out on the initial go, but it’s a little fiddly getting the ‘D’ shape of the bag.

The patches I go to have grown big enough to pollinate among them. I guess eventually an “outsider” comes in and does it’s thing. But yeah some people will hang bags of meat etc. I’ve never tried it.
