As far as I’m aware, males get the lanky look after they reach maturity and molt for the last time, since feeding stops being a priority for them; pedipalps also change and thats an sure sign of a mature male T. I think they are indistinguishable before that?

This one was actually pretty skinny when that pic was taken since she had recently molted . So far all of my mature T’s have turned out to be females so… Maybe I don’t have keen eyes ti spot the males.

My bad, that’s the flash reflecting on the urticating hairs. under mormal light conditions those leg segments look just the tiniest bit lighter that the upper leg.

My other T. vagans’ ( same species) name is Garambullo, inspired by the very delicious fruit of this cactus. Kinda looks like the species signature red rump.

But this one doesn’t have a name… Any suggestions? It’s a female but I’m sure she’s fine with whatever XD.

Team arachnids!

Nightreign finally… (Weeee) did a couple of solo runs yesterday to get a feel of it, hopped online and after 2 or 3 attempts got a pretty solid team going and steamrolled the first boss. It’s super fast paced so still adjusting to the rythm and characters. But looking forward to more!

As for a tip… Similar to eezeebee’s comment. Learning not to rush, being patient/ obsrvant pays off. getting to know what “rules” the world and the enemies are laying out for you will make your life easier in the long run.

I’m seriously going to schedule the remaining time to make sure I finish those games and get my money’s worth, ha!

Ugh, since Elden Ring dropped it has taken me over a year to finish playthroughs of anything that isn’t a soulslike ( with only like 2 or 3 exceptions. I have abandoned a bunch of games as well… )

I currently have a subscription going on so I’ve been trying to take advantage of the games offrered that otherwise I 'd never play. I have been pushing through gameplay that does nothing for me to enjoy the stories, lower the difficulty to the min. so I can just get it done. Since they’ll eventually go away I feel the pressure of continuing… (But I also just got Nightreign, dammit)

I still need to adress my backlog, I like a lot (almost) all of the games I have in there but I feel progression is too slow, and somes I freeze not wanting to fuck up the story… Idk I find them more emotionally draining, most other combat boring (again with a few exceptions). Most are RPGs, and I fire them up every few months, play 5 hours in one sitting and promptly forget for months again…

When I played BB for the first time I realized that was a game made for me, everything clicked and I fell in love with the genre. Outside of it very few games have been able to capture me in a simmilar way, but every soulslike I have loved.

I have not… Yet. But I have an addictive/ hyper focus type of personality and the gameplay loop of soulslikes has me all fucked up. Even when I’m being shit I keep coming back for more, I can’t help it.

My tolerance for the more character and story driven rpgs has decreased significantly because of this. So I’m currently on a quest to play other types of games again and ENJOY them. Sometimes it feels like a chore tbh.

I haven’t played through all the FS catalog so maybe my nemesis is out there still, (sekiro still scares me a bit) but we’ll see.

There’s an npc in new londo ruins that sells unlimited transient curses. You have to reach the top of the buiding that’s across the second bridge, before you unlock the elevator to lower new londo ruins.

(If I also recall correctly the ghosts also drop a dagger or sword that can damage them without the need of a curse)
