Since Thanksgiving was yesterday it got me thinking and I feel like we have been blessed by Arteta and co for turning the team into a PL league contender. Normally this would have been a game I skipped, anticipating a loss, but I eagerly donned my game day jersey and Sat down in front of the tv knowing there was a chance, and a good one at that, for a victory.

Last year I was quietly optimistic, but this year could actually be the year we win the league.

But seriously they do need to keep this momentum going into their next 4 league game because the 4 after that are going to be brutal (Villa, City, West Ham, Newcastle).

I’m personally enjoying watching United crumble this season and their win this weekend is only going to gloss over what is a terrible start to the season.

I’m glad they aren’t falling into irrelevance and have been playing well and I think Ange could get them CL football but I don’t see them being title contenders at the end of the season.

I wasn’t expecting them to be this good, that quick and they have been playing really well but I’m wondering if they have the depth and quality to sustain this over the entire season.

I would have thought the backup keeper would get to play CL + cup matches seeing as they are both high calibre keepers.

The composure of our defence was incredible.

I had a Thanksgiving lunch to attend and I only got to see the first half. I’m anxious to rewatch the game as we were apparently playing quite well in the second half.
