I can’t find any cats 😞
Accessible from Canada at least.
Checking these out, new Thornhill single I’m excited to listen to!
That’s what I was thinking… I’m over that amount already and I have one interview so far. Though to be fair I’m applying to co-ops which I guess might be more competitive?
Thanks. Just got out a mental health program and entering another one soon so Ive learned a lot about them. Consistently applying the exercises is a different beast altogether though
Im trying but it ain’t going so well 😭
No actually, in my very unresearched and unknowledgable opinion the majority of people don’t really set out to walk much more than to and from their cars, the washroom, or the kitchen
You calling someone who’s only barely older than me a full grown adult hurt me
Any link for that Mr Hoffman iced coffee recipe mentioned in the title?
Ah yours is definitely more true to that, I assumed from the originals it was just a potted plant in a window sill. Yours does look like some small tree on a white background! I think with such small space to work with it’ll be difficult no matter what to communicate the original’s image and you’ve done a great job with what you have, still much better than the original.
Wow this took a few back and forth a to notice the differences but even the ones that are the most similar are improved immensely by your fixes. I especially love both the skeletons paintings, but overall clarity is so much better.
I did mean to ask, of the two paintings where it seems to look out a window and one has a creeper and the other is similar bit seems to have some kind of plant, may I know what you interpreted the original plant to be and why that was such a big change in yours? To be honest, I’m not sure if it’s a tree in the distance that yours is supposed to be :)
Please don’t make this a thing in Canada please don’t make this a thing in Canada please don’t make this a thing in Canada please don’t
Thanks for taking the time to respond! Yeah that doesn’t sound good.
Genuine question, are they not making money, or are they not making more money than they did last year? I just tend to hear that companies aren’t making money when all they really mean is that profits aren’t growing, but they’re still making a big profit.
The Hellfire Club by Thornhill
I really recommend this band! I love their style. Kinda metalcore alternative rock alternative metal stuff. This is the song that introduced me to them and I feel it’s definitely a song to turn up loud
Don’t really have a song that matches the prompt. The closest I can get is a song that reminds me of some of the most difficult periods of time in my life, and of the people I’ve been that I’d rather forget I was (well not forget because I’d never learn, but, you know). This is one I recommend giving the lyrics a read through (THOUGH A ⚠️BIG TRIGGER WARNING⚠️ if you struggle with self harm).
Because you’re focusing on wanting to not think about it rather than focusing on observing your thoughts and details about the present moment. Thoughts will come and go, allow them to, then gently redirect yourself back to something like breathing, physical sensations, etc.
That’s the gist of what’s been kind of helping me the most of everything I’ve tried and it’s quite difficult to practice and there’s a lot more that goes into it (like you do have to actually challenge some thoughts) but yeah.
You could try the Finch self care app. Haven’t used it myself and it’s not just for steps but looks like you might be able to use it for that?
If you can’t find an app, you could pretty easily gamify it yourself. Use any step counter app and at home you can set up a page with a chart that you add stickers to ever maybe 5p or 100 steps or so, and when you fill up the bar you unlock what’s inside, like an advent calendar? You could do things like dress up a stuffed animal, or have an egg hatch and print out pictures of it changing and growing, little speech bubbles of encouragement etc.
You’re not getting a lot of responses so I figured I’d offer the little that I can.
I have not used Krita for pixel art, moreso regular digital painting, and I came from using Photoshop. Once I got used to the different control scheme, I enjoyed it quit e about more for digital painting than Photoshop. It’s free and the learning curve isn’t that steep so it’s worth a shot I think
