      All those techno-utopian solutions are unnecessary. First thing that needs to be done is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to rate that is equal to or lower than the current rate of absorption coupled with reforestation.

          Well I phrased that poorly. Obviously it would be cool if we could do those things but the problem is that many such solutions are borderline fantasy plus there is no talk of the side-effects of these considering the scale of these solutions is same as that of terraforming the whole planet. It might be more likely that we end up with a post-capitalist global political economy than seeing some of these solutions being implemented.

              Who does the ‘we’ refer to? Communists or just the United States citizens? Your map seems to indicate not every human will die.

              EDIT: Just for clarification, I don’t mean to imply that Zuckerberg is Communist, I know he isn’t.
