The Brits didn’t want to trade silver exploited from the Americas with the Chinese so they decided to colonise India partly to brutally exploit Bengalis to farm opium to trade with instead. The Chinese refused the opium so the Brits bombed the chinese coastline till the Chinese dynasty gave up and in return the Brits annexed Hong Kong as payment for the war they themselves started, and created the Hong Kong Shanghai Corporation bank to launder this drug money, one of the biggest western banks that exists now.
Then using a small fraction of the wealth exploited from the Chinese and the Indians the Brits allowed some of Hong Kong to develop partly as a defense against socialism to placate local rebellions.
And now for the past few decades some folks from Hong Kong, who instead of seeing solidarity with mainland Chinese and Indians whose exploitation was used to develop their city they instead see kinship with the brutal colonisers, as some sort of ladder to reach the Honorary Aryan status. And it is these folks we are meant to feel sympathy for because another western colour revolution was thwarted while they do their masters’ bidding in spreading atrocity propaganda.

I’m pretty sure that is how you say it properly in English. Maybe it’s different in Uyghur? It is a Turkic language. I know Mandarin has a totally different word for them that IIRC isn’t related to the word.
I admit I’m a bit ignorant on this topic though.
In the native language “Uyghur” the U is pronounced between an “ou” and Cyrillic У, “gh” sits somewhere between a guttural R and soft “kh/X” (voiced uvular fricative).
