What do you think matters then? Is anything else exciting for the left going on in Brazil?
Not that I know of. From what I know the Brazilian left is clinging too hard to elections. It seems like its their only strategy. I think PCB is more radical and is trying to mobilize the masses, but they have limited support.
I mean if they saw what happened in Bolivia, I can kind of understand why they might be that way.
Having a social-democrat in power makes organizing easier than under the command of right-wing fascists, at least.
