Their police truly doesnt work for the rich. Keep in mind that the article is written from a capitalist perspective, and they see this as a bad thing.
The article is so whitewashed from “dangerous” political categories, like capitalists, bankers, etc. it sounds menacing, even though it’s confusing
Not only that, but Xi Jinping and his cabinet as well as the People’s Congress have been appropriating private property and have states that they mean to bring more private enterprises into the orbit of the government.
It should also be noted that the “private sector” in China is usually tied in some way to the government with the People’s Congress holding the leash. It’s quite complicated, but for example, many businesses have their own CPC watchdog groups.

Sorry I might have misinterpreted @Makan@lemmygrad.ml’s comment then, I thought he was talking about some corruption.
Not at all. I just mean that the “private sector” isn’t as “private” as many ultras and Trots make it out. And either way, there’s going to be more control in the future of such things. It’s only a matter of time.
It’s okay!
Nationalistic Chinese tabloid the Global Times was oblivious to the root cause of Indians’ distress and was instead content to chalk it up to nationalism.
How do they write this without a hint of irony?

I would take unsourced claims like this with some huge grains of salt. Its just as likely that they made up that part cause the article wasnt anti-China enough for them.
No source=bullshit.
