Honestly I’m surprised, in the video the bullet hole looked really small, but maybe they all do. I initially assumed it was a pistol and that they’d have the shooter immediately.
A 5.56 projectile is only about quarter inch in diameter, bullets usually go in with a small hole.

At first you could see the bullet hole on the side of the neck and then immediately a large amount of blood started pouring out from the wound. So even if the bullet hole itself was relatively small, I think it must have hit a major artery or something
I’m no doctor but I’m pretty sure the bullet traveled directly through where his jugular used to be
Oh I’m sure it did, from the video it just didn’t initially look like a large caliber, but I’m certainly not an expert in that.
