    Hmmm, not sure I agree, but one can never be too careful, I suppose. It’s good to have these debates from time to time.

        Other articles about this suggested disabling your GPS would be sufficient.

        also disable your mobile internet, bluetooth, wifi, if you arent using them, since they can detect these signals

        as you said a phone is very useful

        I also read another article suggesting that phones seized on arrest are copied by the police so dont have everything on them. This also applies if you are crossing a border - many nations are aggressively searching travelers at the border and copying their phones

    Just stop using the Google services and block it’s ports using application firewall netguard from fdroid and always put a phone in airplane mode , airplane mode never allows a phone to connect to cell towers and as I said block all the Google app and it’s framework and system apps too , then never login a Google account in your phone . stop using centralised social network and clear browser history after every use “that would be enough”
