    Wasn’t there also a professor fired from his job for informing his class about different filler words (umm, eto, ding, etc.) across different cultures and saying the Chinese filler word “nige” as a result to give as an example? Seems pretty horrible and fueled by Sinophobia and prejudice, tbh.
