Hi all, Weeb Revolution is trying to bring Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought directly to anime fans. This is worth doing since hobbies like anime and video games have become pipelines to the right and the best way to counteract that is in my opinion real leftist content (Not the demsucc stuff either). I just like anime too, and I hope the channel’s content is entertaining to comrades

The channel recently went through some re-branding; it used to be called Shonen Ronin, which is a story of its own. However, now that the shonen creators left, I definitely want to take the channel more in the political direction. It should be quite the journey and I’ll enjoy every comment of flabbergasted people who can’t wrap their head around a communist making anime videos.
There are other communities for anime on lemmy but do feel free to just post anything anime related, ask questions, make suggestions or share memes.

ha funny, I was considering this morning because of the reddit witch hunt against Bay Area 451 just using a v-tuber persona to hide my identity. Truthfully though I’m not that concerned about being doxxed and more so just want a v-tuber setup ;p.
