Interesting data. Shows that conditions are not as bad as western media likes to claim. (There is room for further improvement, but consider the heavy sanctions and threats it’s constantly placed under and you’ll understand.)

    I wouldn’t even trust UNICEF, though the fact that it’s somewhat positive is telling.

      Well, at least they say how they got the data and what methods they used to analyze it. If I understood correctly, they actually asked and surveyed households in the DPRK to get the data. That makes it more trustworthy than any western news reports. Also, it may be useful for arguing with liberals who’ll reject other sources as “North Korean propaganda”.

        To be fair, even that can be made up. But maybe I’m acting too nihilistic here. I suppose I just don’t trust UNICEF by rote, tbh.

          At least we can safely assume that the situation is not worse than stated in this report. It’s not like they’d skew data to make the DPRK look better.
