“Totally” would have not made an agreement with the fascist pigs in order to buy time for my people to be able to catch up with the rest of the more modernized world and their modernized armies because why not resist the fascists and just have them destroy us all on behalf of the western “democracies” to get rid of the “problem” they couldn’t get rid of before.

Yeah this exactly! Bougie white capitalists had to invent Uncle Tom because they wouldn’t support Harriet Tubman or Nat Turner who were right there. They only give a shit about helpless victims, or martyrs who are already dead, never POC who shoot back. Never Assata Shakur or Leonard Peltier, not to mention Assad or Castro.
This might be somewhat off topic but regarding this “would have/could have done better” thing, is anyone else getting really annoyed by this line when it comes to describing AES countries in the modern day, specifically the PRC? I’ve noticed people like saying that what PRC is doing in XJ could be done better or how they handled COVID initially could be done better without ever actually saying what the hell specifically could be done better and how to do it. It just sounds like criticism for criticism’s sake. No analysis, no contextual framing and most importantly, no actual educated solutions. At this point, I’m not even satisfied with “not perfect” as a defense as though we ever expected otherwise of human constructed societies.
