This professor’s accent sounds a bit like Bernie Sander’s. If only Bernie was this based. I have downloaded the whole playlist onto my computer (~8.7GB) and plan on finishing this series if it’s good.

Edit: The reading list link in giving a 403 error. I wanted to email the professor about it but looks like he has passed away. So I emailed the current professor of the same course. Let’s see if I get a reply.

I am in lecture 9 right now and it seems like the professor is teaching something different from what I have learned so far about Marxist Economics. He seems to be a postmodern(?) Marxist, but I could be wrong… I’m saying that on the basis of him discussing Marxist economics not in terms of Dialectical Materialism, but Overdeterminism and he seems to value Foucault a lot.

The lectures are still interesting tho, I haven’t stopped watching them.

The professor disagrees with economic determinism, how Marx treated economic relations as the fundamental basis of analyzing human society.
