ppl are doing a really good job of agitating online both on twitter and reddit, spreading communist ideas and questioning the lies told about existing socialism. Of course there’s still so much to be done there, and it sometimes feels like an impossible task (all western media is controlled by 6 companies who do nothing but pump in anticommunism, xenophobia, and racism to people 24 / 7).

Before the revolution or after? If we are talking about educating the populace after the revolution, then it’s simply a matter of broadcasting informative and educational programming on tv and radio.

Another important tool will be the nightly news. If we don’t leave room for skepticism (i.e. we promote certain things about communism as fact and not up for debate) then eventually we’ll succeed in teaching the people.

Look at climate change. Because news outlets frame climate change and climate change denial as two equally valid opinions as opposed to one statement of fact with a mountain of scientific merit and the other as the dirty deeds of Capital promoting anti-intellectualism to save their bottom line, we aren’t making progress on a real and present threat to human civilization.

I think it is important to get people to understand class and economic structures. The amount of misinformation is just too much… Telling a person that the anti DPRK progranada is BS might work, but they go back into the world and if they go to wikipedia to check some info, they will again be dragged in this BS.

Talking about how the west is trying to destroy any country that is not subservient to them is the much better strategy. And the atrocities committed against the DPRK & co. can also easily be checked even in bourgeoisie resources.
