It appeared again in 1991-1995 when nationalists came to the fore to help destroy the Soviet Union
It is oft featured at nazi rallys
So their only example of “brutal soviet oppression” is that they changed the alphabet from Latin to Cyrillic? How can anyone take this seriously?
They’re using this excuse for nazi collaborators. Apparently supporting genocide is less bad than doing a language reform to these. That’s what decades and decades of western propaganda against the USSR do to peoples’ thinking.
What did you expect from anti-communists? Even good things like eliminating illiteracy can be framed as oppression when it comes to these types.
Did they actually just try to say “it’s complicated” when referring to collaborating with fucking Nazis?
Let nobody ever say that anarchism is consistently anti fascist or even anti state. They are only consistently anti communist.
They seriously explained what Latin script is by saying “it’s like Polish” without taking an extra second to identify that it’s the script literally all of western Europe writes in, as well as Romania. You’re reading Latin script right now, English uses it.

The hilarious thing is getting people to take a picture in front of a flag and/or some stupid banner is all you need to do to get the “Western” “Left” on board with dropping bombs on people. They won’t bother learning more, and in their own mind, they tell themselves the workers are rising up against a “dictator.” The imperialists learned this with those silly people in Syria, and their idiotic banners.
Of course I mean here young “Leftists”. The ones that are 30+ know it is just a con-game.
Many anarchists, sadly, did the same with the obviously CIA-backed, full of literal UK flags, HK protests :/. Yes, there are always a miniscule number of actual anarchists, but they never control the whole movement (neither in Belarus, nor in HK), so in the grand scheme of things that doesn’t matter, as reality will turn out just like Ukraine, Bolivia, and so many ‘revolts’ that followed exactly the same pattern.
Also weird but why are they stanning monarchists wtf. At least anarchists back in the 1910s opposed monarchy and sided against the whites.
