You are (defacto) apart of the largest and most powerful empire IN HISTORY. Don’t do this “I’m just small little guy” bs, it’s stupid.
David was not a good king. It only took one and a half generations after his death for his kingdom to collapse due to ongoing inept, corrupt, and extravagant leadership, and even during his lifetime his own sons revolted against his trash rulership and could have succeeded in overthrowing David if it weren’t for some meddling tree branches and Absalom’s glorious mane. It got to be so bad that God personally intervened to take Israel away from David’s lineage.
CW: SA in the Bible
Also true to form is that King David committed SA, tolerated his son Amnon SA’ing his half-sister, Tamar, and did nothing about it. Just like modern-day Israelis King David was a bad parent who raised his children to be pieces of shit and the nation collapsed because of it. King David was a big L and Isn’treal has chosen an ironically perfect avatar when comparing themselves to ancient biblical Israel.

the rest of “David” just out of frame:
Israel has been doing this “I’m just a smol little bean trying to survive in the middle of all these countries that hate me” routine since the beginning. Why do they hate you? Ummm…
“The enemy is too strong and too weak.”
David was literally better armed than Goliath though. Slings are very deadly. The white phosphorus of the bronze age.
It was straight up just the Indiana Jones scene where he shoots the swordsman.
The dominionist style Americans love that they get to play the role of the all fucking mighty in this supposed David and Goliath story lol
Lmao, yes we all know the bigger your landmass, the more power you hold. Mongolia? Powerful. Britain? Weak. Montana? Powerful. Washington D.C? Weak.
Same energy as electoral college maps that show a bunch of empty land as red as if square footage is what votes
Why doesn’t the larger country simply eat the smaller entity
Duh, God was on David’s side and now the U.S. as the representation of God’s Will on Earth is on David’s side - An American Evangelical
