      That is a tough one. I think I lean a little more toward Fidel, but not really for any quantifiable objective reason

        Same… I feel more familiar with fidel because of his autobiography, and the fact that he lived so much longer and thus had a greater impact on the world.

          Losurdo. Just because Gramsci gets cited too often by liberals (and even on occasion reactionaries) who completely miss the point.

            I know much less about Losurdo than I do Gramsci, but I totally agree with your point about reactionaries both liberal and far right cherry picking his quotes on culture to misconstrue his point

        I didn’t know Hunton was a self-professed or practicing communist, just knew he had been accused of being one. To be fair, I know far too little about him
