    I agree that we should encourage people on r/antiwork to start using Lemmy and other open platforms. I made a post here laying out my rationale.

    I’m not sure it would work very well to crosspost to content from here r/antiwork because:

    1. There is plenty of content there allready
    2. A watermark feels like advertising which people will reject when they don’t know that Lemmy is an open source and federated project.

    There is no harm in trying but this is my gut feeling.

    I do think that either posting about the advantages of federated social media is a good idea though.

    You are right that:

    An arguable anticapitalist movement can only get so far on capitalist reddit.

    And I think people on r/antiwork will agree with that.

    Edit: I would just like to add that it might actually make sense for the r/antiwork users/mods to set up their own instance and maybe that could be mentioned?

      getting the r/antiwork mods on board to help popularize lemmy or even host their own instance sounds like it has a ton of potential, fantastic idea
