      Honestly I like 70% think I could do it first try

      I have nothing to base that on though since I’ve never operated heavy machinery.

        You probably could do it on the first try.

        The skill comes into play when you’re meeting the required volume per hour and consistently not smashing a quarter of the containers.

        There’s also a lot of trades working in ports.

          Yeah, that’s kind of what I was thinking as well. Give me the crane’s manual and unlimited time and I feel like I’ll get that shipping container moved. Give me the actual crane operator’s job and a boss threatening to fire me if I don’t get moving and I’ll definitely fuck something up lmao

        Working a backhoe, sure. Working a bigass crane without breaking the cargo, the boat, the crane, or other workers? That’s a lot less likely.
