I appreciate it, comrade. Do you happen to know where I could read about this site and it’s origin? Maybe there is an ‘about’ section I’m not seeing. Also, do you know if there is data harvesting?
A developer could give you a better answer, but from what I understand, it was developed by comrades who are active in our community and continuing to improve it. This site was built by @muad_dibber@lemmygrad.ml and some other comrades, with the intention of replacing Reddit.
Lemmy doesn’t collect your data, and it’s hosted outside of the US so even if we did collect it, your data would be safe.
Thanks for this info. That’s good to know. I also did some digging and yeah it doesn’t seem like a CIA honeypot, but you never can be too careful.
