MOSCOW, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin castigated Europe on Saturday for “Russophobia” and criticized the Baltic States over human rights at the unveiling of a World War Two memorial. Since he sent Russian troops into Ukraine nearly two years ago, Putin has been making comparisons with the fight against the Nazis in order to rally his nation. “The regime in Kyiv exalts Hitler’s accomplices, the SS men … In a number of European countries, Russophobia is promoted as state policy,” Putin said in the Leningrad region for the 80th anniversary of the end of the Nazi siege. The Germans’ aims then were to steal the Soviet Union’s resources and eliminate its people, he said. Ukraine, which was part of the Soviet Union and itself suffered devastation at the hands of Hitler’s forces, rejects comparisons as spurious pretexts for a war of conquest. In his speech, Putin also lambasted the Baltic States over human rights. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - ruled from Moscow during the Cold War but now members of the European Union and NATO military alliance - have been among the strongest critics of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. “In the Baltic states, tens of thousands of people are declared subhuman, deprived of their most basic rights, and subjected to persecution,” Putin said, referring to migration crackdowns. Moscow has repeatedly accused the Baltic nations of xenophobia and treating Russian minorities as “second-class”.

It’s absolutely correct, you rattling nazi scissor

Putin having the objectively correct take that the Butthurt Belt is rife with racism and that Ukraine is currently run by nazis isn’t the own you think it is.

Complaining about racism in Europe against your people is ABSOLUTELY the same as using Europe’s racism against their people as a weapon.

I’m SO GLAD we federated with your instance that’s completely NOT filled with repulsive nazis like you!

Have any data to back up western Europe has unproportiomal prejudice against Russians when compared to other nationalities? We currently have issues with Russian government and those that support it for obvious reasons, but this apparent hate of Russians is fantasy.

Good article, but does not seem fitting. It′s about bunch of uneducated assholes making threats due to the fact that country from which they originated from is currently the aggressor. Same happened to Iraqis in USA for example.

‘Good article that addresses my point. I will declare it as not fitting’.

It′s about bunch of uneducated assholes making threats due to the fact that country from which they originated from is currently the aggressor

If that was the reason for their behaviour, they would have been orders of magnitude as hostile to anybody from France, Switzerland, Ukraine, Germany, Pissrael, the US, and every other NATO country.
Again, which country has invaded anybody is not a good predictor for this behaviour.

Same happened to Iraqis in USA for example

Completely correct. And you may have noticed that it was not because Iraq invaded anybody. It was because of a targeted propaganda campaign by your empire. Just like it is in the case with Russia.

Have any data to back up western Europe has unproportiomal prejudice against Russians when compared to other nationalities?

An example would be the fact that there is a perfect correlation between who is banned from working at CERN and their nationality, and 0 correlation between who is banned from working at CERN and whether or not they are a citizen of a state that has invaded anybody.

Also, the rabid anti-Russian propaganda campaign that you’ve been getting blasted for at least years now.

We currently have issues with Russian government and those that support it for obvious reasons

          What are those ‘reasons’?

It affects those that are working for the aggressor country. There are many of Russian descent still working in CERN:

All relations between CERN and Russian and Belarusian institutions will cease as of these dates. Relations continue with scientists of Russian or Belarusian nationality otherwise affiliated with CERN.

The Council reaffirmed that all the decisions it has taken to date in light of the ongoing military invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation with the involvement of the Republic of Belarus, along with the actions undertaken by the CERN Management, remain in force.

            .

            What are those ‘reasons’?

Biggest attempt to destabilise Europe since WW2?
