    The first recorded instance of war as entertainment. I imagine this is what people expected to happen in Ukraine, since we’re so unused to superpowers not bombing their opponents back to the stoneage.

      The notion of bribed general is quite interesting. And it’s something I’ve been asking since SMO began, but found no answer - why couldn’t the Russian government/SVR do something similair? Pay off some fucks in Ukraine, remove the nazi battalions, get some friendlier faces in. Did they simply get out-bribed by the yanks? Are they incompetent?
