    In America, we have this obsession with criminals being killed outright. It exists in everyone, regardless of political affiliation.

    Feel like this is overkill. Like getting mugged is bad but I feel like the lady could’ve subdue the mugger instead of outright just resorting to murder, then again, this is the US police force, so I’m not that surprised.

    I mean, you can kinda excuse overreaction on her part, she was the one being mugged after all, thinking clearly shouldnt be an expectation in those situations. But yeah, the comments are probably atrocious, as per reddit standart.

      The thing is, if she’s a trained cop she should have the nerve and confidence to not shoot three times at close range and rather let the opponent surrender. But actually in America it’s the opposite. Cops are the happiest triggers of all, they probably select the most sadistic individuals so they can be sure that they won’t hesitate a second to kill someone

    I watched the nbc news video, and it sounds like he’s saying “I’m sorry I’m sorry” as she keeps shooting. Sad that nobody offered first aid, just taunts.
