I can be your friend if it means that you’ll explain why Trotsky was a terrorist to me - I’m not good on history of the USSR and I’m all ears!

The entire Moscow trials detailed Trotskys assassination links to murdering the Soviet government.

In the late 1980s a Trotskyite historian, Pierre Broue, discovered there was an actual bloc led by Trotskyites and Zinovietites and Sedov (his son) in 1932.

Trotsky had lied his entire life saying there was no bloc of oppositionists and that this was a Stalinist plot cooked up. Yet here we are with Pierre Broue discovering a letter in invisible ink proving Trotsky a liar.

The bloc has been organised. It includes the Zinovievists, the Sten-Lominadze Group and the Trotskyists.

      Sedov to Trotsky.

      Radek at the 1937 trial

It was clear since terrorism was the new position, the preparatory work must consist in assembling and forming the terrorist cadres.

      Radek, 1937

According to Radeks testimony it was 1932 when Trotsky used the word “terror”.

When Kirov was assassinated in 1934 Trotsky immediately pens an article saying STalin had him killed to cement his iron grip. https://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/1934/12/kirov.htm

Here we are 50 years later and there have been 3 studies on the Kirov murder - Kirilina, Matthew Lennoe and Grover Furr

And none of them conclude that Stalin killed Kirov.

This is to be a recurring theme in Trotskys history - where he “predicts Stalin will do X” as if to hedge or misdirect or make the Soviets look ridiculous.

The first 2 conclude that Leonid (the assassin who killed Kirov) was a lone assassin (lol).

Matthew Lennoes book is interesting because in order to come to his conclusion (that Stailn did not kill Kirov) he spends 15 or so pages writing an anti-communist diatribe on how much he hates Stalin, the Soviets and communism. This is because the Kirov murder was a crucial block in the Anti-Stalin paradigm.

It is due to Leonids initial confessions that an ever wider circle of terrorists is exposed with Trotsky and Sedov trying to organise parts of them outside the USSR. If Stalin had Kirov killed then the entire 3 Moscow trials that occured (which were based on Leonids confessions and exposing other names who in turn named other names) then the entire thing is a show trial!

Whilst Grover Furr concludes that the subsequent confessions that were got out of Leonid uncovering an ever wider Zinovieist and Trotskyite bloc were true confessions.

The West had a field day with Trotskys propaganda against the Soviets declaring the trials as frame ups and showing spooky footage of Stalin carrying Kirovs coffin (who was his friend). In other words Stalin is so blood thirsty he’ll kill you then literally bury you.

I would recommend The book The Murder Of Sergei Kirov by Grover Furr

That is a job very well done and my hat off to you for doing that.

I have purchased the books as I prefer a hard copy I can highlight and scribble notes on but I’m sure I will get some mileage out of your epubs also
