Just to be clear; they, meaning the Libs, had an impentrable wall of media solidarity about not ever ever discussing Joe’s mental condition prior to the debate, right? Like am I remembering that right? Any time anyone brought up his terminal pudding brain they’d shout it down as ageism or something?

    r/politics thread

    Emphasis mine.

“I’ll feel as long as I gave it my all and did the good as job as I know I could do,” Biden said in what was probably the most quoted line—and not favorably—from his Friday-night interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. “That’s what it’s all about” is how Biden ended that thought, which seemed to unleash a furious internal cry from so many viewers: No, that’s not what this is all about.

    C’mon, man.

“That is the answer that most concerned me,” Representative Adam Schiff, Democrat of California, said Sunday morning on NBC’s Meet the Press. “This is not just about whether he gave it the best college try.” Wasn’t this, supposedly, about the fate of democracy? Existential threats and all the big words and phrases that Biden and his campaign have been tossing out for months? You have to wonder, in retrospect, if they were sincere about how must-win this election really was, given how cavalier Biden sounds.

I like how they edited out goodest to just good. He definitely said “I gave it my all and did the goodest job…”

Ideally no one gets hurt along the way: Maybe grandpop refuses to give up his license, drives into an oak tree, and only the car gets totaled. But sometimes there are casualties: Maybe a pedestrian gets hit. President Joe Biden, 81, is acting like one of history’s most negligent and pigheaded leaders at a crucial moment, and right now, we are all pedestrians.

Well connected 60 year old national TV news political pundits being like, “Oh my God! Imagine how terrifying it would be if the the United States government was a threat to your wellbeing!”

Well he publicly bagatalised the threat Trump pose to US system at least a few times, so i would say yes, he understands the stakes way better than his psychofans.
