Ah, we have a “I hate religion, but I just especially hate islam more” type atheist. I’m not religious, but it’s always funny when I see people like this. It’s not so much that they just want a more secular world, they just hate that the dominant religion of their empire is waning.
Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens and Bill Maher style Atheism, weaponizing anti-theism to specifically target Islam because it just so happens to be the religion of most of the places that the US wants to bomb.
only difference between people like this and christian reactionaries is their stated reason for supporting us imperialism and islamophobia.
